Air to Water Heat Pumps
Air to Water Heat Pumps (AWHP) absorb heat from outside air to produce hot water. AWHP can replace existing commercial oil (or gas) boilers, something you may want to consider. Heat pumps work more efficiently when heating water to a lower temperature than your typical boiler; heat pumps are often coupled with heating systems that require relatively low operating temperatures, such as under-floor heating. There are systems available that can integrate with conventional radiator systems, although the radiator size may need to be increased.
FWP UK have successfully installed Air to Water Heat Pumps in commercial settings; why not take a look at Carluccio’s Neo Bankside restaurant case study and the savings we achieved for them.
